Adopt a Family for Christmas

Our Adopt a Family for Christmas program coordinates the adoption of economically disadvantaged families in our community by members of local churches and organizations. Many of them would not have Christmas if this community did not donate so generously.

Seven ways businesses and individuals can contribute:

  1. CHAP Outreach Ministries can assign a family to you and make arrangements for you to deliver gifts to their home so you can meet each other.
  2. You could purchase gifts for your assigned family and then deliver your gifts to the CHAP Store for distribution.

    In these first two options, we will provide names, ages, and clothing sizes of the family assigned to you.
  3. You can prepare a meal for your assigned family and deliver it to their home.
  4. You could offer to share a Christmas meal with your assigned family in your own home.
  5. Perhaps you would rather purchase the food for a Christmas meal and deliver it to our CHAP Store for distribution.
  6. You can support the program financially. CHAP Outreach Ministries will then select and distribute food and gifts to low income families.
  7. You can also volunteer to help coordinate this program.

This is one of our most exciting and rewarding programs. We receive more handshakes, hugs, and thank you's than any other time of the year.
